This is our first look at products from Hello Waffle Cosmetics. A relatively new indie, opened nine months ago, Hello Waffle has been adored from the beginning on the Indie Makeup and More subreddit. I've been a little reluctant to add to my already excessive eyeshadow collection but I finally had to see what everyone has been talking about.
This post is specifically about the 1000 Likes Celebration collection but expect a more general overview on the company soon!
The 1000 Likes Celebration is a permanent collection that was released two months ago as Hello Waffle hit one thousand likes on their facebook page. As of this writing, Hello Waffle has just passed the two thousand mark. Given how fast they're gaining popularity, maybe a five thousand likes collection is in the near future?
This set of seven eyeshadows leans closer on the bright spectrum, as would be expected from a celebration themed collection, and they all have golden finishes but there are a couple muted shades. The eyeshadows were soft, well-pigmented, and softly satin finished.
