Personal Comments: To me, this shade is a cocoa brown matte base with a ton of acid green glitter. I don't see the gold referenced in the official description, but geez are these some bright green sparkles! The shadow looks pretty much identical over bare skin, a silicone primer, and a sticky base, though I think the glitter is a little more densely packed over a sticky base. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

Personal Comments: I see a cool-toned tan taupe base with a million sparkles that shift from pink to bright fuchsia. The official description says the base is matte, but I honestly can't tell from looking at it because there's so much shimmer packed on top! It looks completely identical over bare skin, a silicone primer, and a sticky base. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

Personal Comments: Steampunk lovers, do not pass go, do not collect $200, just buy a full size of this shade immediately. It's got an amazing metallic copper base with a bit of a smokey charcoal gray haze and a surfeit of pink and green shimmers. It was love at first sight for me! I don't see much of the charcoal haze over a sticky base, but it shows up more over bare skin and silicone primer. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. From the website: Malebranche is a rich midtone copperish brown with slight metallic effects, and overlaid with a pale blue to silver duochrome effect. In different lighting, the duochrome can appear to blend with the base color, giving this shade a purplish lean.

Personal Comments: I see a muted burnt orange with green and copper shimmer. This shade reminds me a lot of Shiro's limited edition Halloween color Ragdoll (reviewed here) but with less shimmer. The finish is very lightly metallic. The shade looks nearly identical over bare skin, a sticky base, and a silicone primer, though I think the metallic finish is slightly more prominent over a sticky base. Personal Comments: This shade is similar to the previous shade (Malebranche) except it leans more pinky-red than orange. It's got a ton of pastel blue and copper shimmer. I can see a metallic pink duochrome appearing in the base color at the edges of the swatch. The color is notably more glittery and metallic over a sticky base or a silicone primer - both effects kind of pull a disappearing act over bare skin. Personal Comments: Oh my gosh, this shade is bending my brain a little bit! Both the base color and the shimmer keep shifting and I can't quite wrap my head around them. Sometimes the base color looks gray, sometimes gray-brown taupe, sometimes a very cool, muted lavender. The shimmer started out silver, but then totally surprised me when it turned a soft, creamy gold. Then I stepped into a different lighting and suddenly the shimmer was green! It's too cool. The shade looks identical over bare skin, silicone primer, and a sticky base. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.
