Brilliant Deductions is Aromaleigh Mineral Cosmetics' take on the BBC's hit show Sherlock featuring the ridiculously sexy Benedict Cumberbatch as Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as his sidekick, Dr. John Watson.
Sherlock is my favorite TV show as of late and the BBC has done an amazing job with it. For those who haven't heard of it, Sherlock is a modern day telling of the Sherlock Holmes stories. Complete with modern technology and social media. In fact, John Watson (aka the show writers) keeps an active blog of their mystery solving endeavors. It really is a fantastic show but it's sadly only three seasons currently (with a promised 4th and 5th) and each season is only three episodes, though each episode is an hour long (kind of like a mini movie almost).
Anyway, you're not here because you want to hear my gushing about Sherlock, either the show or the actor playing the character, so let's talk about these eyeshadows!
In typical Aromaleigh fashion, this is a large collection of 21 eyeshadows. I haven't watched the show as many times as others have so a few of the references are lost on me but the products are absolutely gorgeous.
Mostly muted colors with a satin finish, Brilliant Deductions has a wide assortment of neutrals and a smattering of the brighter bolder shades that seem surprising at first but they fit in pretty well since Aromaleigh has also put in several shade depths of each color (Password Protected, Brainy is the New Sexy, and Experimental Drug making up one such progression).
The eyeshadows are well pigmented and blend smoothly together.
