Yes, I know we're just on the cusp of Fall collections coming out but I really wanted to share this wonderful Spring set with you. I've actually had this set for awhile now but due to some personal issues, managed to lose track of them and only rediscovered them recently. But better late than never? Take a look at these gorgeous blushes that Darling Girl Cosmetics has put out.

Though they're not specifically advertised as a set, these blushes were part of Darling Girl's Spring release and they're all named after fairy-tale elements. There are four Inner Glow blushes (meant to be a soft sheen), three Soft Focus blushes (not quite as shimmery as the Inner Glow blushes and almost matte), and one Blush You blush (not actually sure what the distinct difference is between this set and others).

Darling Girl's powder blush formula has always been one of my favorites and this set is no exception. They blend beautifully into the skin and would be great starter blushes for anyone wanted to branch out into a large color range. The blushes are very pigmented but also blend down really easily so I'd advise starting with a small amount and then gently adding more to build to where you'd like.

From the website: Candy apple red with blue sheen.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Red #40 Al Lake,Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Silica and Iron Oxide.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Inner Glow Blush. This is a bright red shade with hints of shimmer. If used as an eyeshadow, the blue sheen (seen more clearly in the jar picture) would be more apparent but as a blush this stayed nice and red for me. Applied on bare skin. From the website: Deep plummy wine with a soft satin finish.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Manganese Violet, Boron Nitride, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide and Tin Oxide

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Soft Focus Blush. Plum is a great way to describe this shade. It's a muted red-purple with a very soft glowing highlight. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Slightly earthy plum with copper sheen.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Manganese Violet, Ultramarines and Iron Oxide(s).

NOT Lip Approved.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Inner Glow Blush. More purple but still a lighter color than Kiss The Frog. I thought Little Mischief had more shimmer than Kiss The Frog initially but in both, the shimmer blends away to a clean finishApplied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Warm peachy pink with soft green to pink shift.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Silica and Red #40 Al Lake.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Inner Glow BlushA light pink-tinted peach shade with shimmer. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Bright reddish orange coral.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Red #40 Al Lake, Polyester-3 and D&C Colorants.

NOT Eye Approved.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Soft Focus BlushThis turned out to be the boldest blush in the set. It's a bright, bold red. Apply with an easy hand. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Mid-tone lavender with reddish undertones.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Blue #1 Al Lake, Red #27 Al Lake.

NOT Eye Approved.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Soft Focus BlushPurple blush has been all the rage lately. The Magic Lamp is a little too cool-toned for me but I really appreciate the uniqueness of the color. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Light apricot with gold sheen.

Ingredients: Mica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide, Red #7 Al Lake and Ultramarines.

NOT Eye/Lip Approved.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Inner Glow Blush. Almost a burnt-orange shade but not quite. The gold shimmer in this blush is the most obvious of all the blushes in the set. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

From the website: Pink berry with red violet undertones.

Ingredients: Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Tin Oxide, Silica, Myristic Acid, Magnesium Hydroxide, Iron Oxide and Red #40 Al Lake.

Personal Comments: A Darling Girl Cosmetics Blush You blush. A soft pink-peachy shade that has a gorgeous shimmery highlight. This one blends away very well and I needed quite a bit to bring the pink shade out on my face. The shimmer was obvious from the start though. This would also make a great highlighter. Applied on bare skin. This picture was taken outside in natural light.
