Hey everyone! Detrivore Cosmetics has just released her first new eyeshadow collection in a very long time, inspired by the Daedra Lords in Skyrim! You can buy the whole nine-shadow collection at once for a 10% discount right here, or you can purchase the shades individually over here. This is a stunning collection dominated by smokey greys and taupes, and I'm so delighted to show it to you. I want to mention that I didn't have application issues with any of these, and they all seem to start with Detrivore's fantastically soft matte base, so I won't talk much about performance in my comments.

Congratulations Distorria on so many awesome launches this month! Let's check out the swatches!

From the website: Vegan, Not Lip Safe

Shimmery vivid blue with subtle white sparkle.

Ingredients: serecite mica, magnesium myristrate, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, ferric ferrocyanide, calcium aluminum borosilicate, silicon dioxide.

Personal Comments: To my eyes, this is a rich royal blue with a moderate amount of white sparkles. This is definitely one of the most eye-catching shades in the collection! It's the shade of the ocean when I daydream about an island vacation, complete with light reflecting off the waves.

Dark, balanced taupe with green glitter.

Ingredients: serecite mica, iron oxide, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, chromium oxide, calcium aluminum borosilicate, silicon dioxide, tin oxide.

Personal Comments: This is a taupe, or brown-leaning gray, with a lot of white sparkles. I'm looking forward to trying this out as a crease color.

Deep matte beige-taupe.

Ingredients: serecite mica, magnesium myristrate, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, carmine.

Personal Comments: This is a brown-tan base color with a moderate amount of sparkles in it. I couldn't make out if the sparkles were pink or copper.

From the website: Vegan, Not Lip Safe

Matte brown-rose base with subtle white sparkle.

Ingredients: serecite mica, magnesium myristrate, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, copper powder, silicon dioxide, ferric ferrocyanide.

Personal Comments: This is a red-leaning brown, but it didn't have quite enough red to reach brick red to my eyes. The website description says the sparkles are white, but to my eyes, they were pink (and abundant!).

From the website: Vegan, Lip Safe

Deep charcoal grey with multicolored glitter.

Ingredients: serecite mica, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, calcium aluminum borosilicate, silicon dioxide, tin oxide.

Personal Comments: I fell instantly in love with this smokey charcoal gray with tiny blue and white sparkles in it. The swatch went on a little patchy, but that was due to an issue with how I spread the Pixie Epoxy rather than a performance problem with the shadow. This shade was definitely one of my favorites!

From the website: Vegan, Lip Safe

Matte storm grey with a slight taupe tone.

Ingredients: serecite mica, iron oxide, titanium dioxide, tin oxide.

Personal Comments: This looks two to three shades lighter than Namira, but is otherwise quite close to it. It's a steel gray with tiny white and blue sparkles.

Faded yellow-toned grass green with fine red sparkle.

Ingredients: serecite mica, chromium oxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, carmine, calcium aluminum borosilicate, tin oxide, silicon dioxide.

Personal Comments: The website description is exactly how I saw this shade, except the sparkles looked pink rather than red to me. This is another standout shade in my opinion!

From the website: Vegan, Lip Safe

Soft shimmery grey with silver flecks.

Ingredients: serecite mica, iron oxide, carnauba wax, titanium dioxide, tin oxide.

Personal Comments: To my eyes, this is a light-medium gray that leans a little blue, plus a ton of white sparkles. It's very similar to Boethiah, which I'll expand on below.

I want to make a quick note about the gray shades - they're almost all quite different, and I've tried my best to photograph and describe them accurately to differentiate them. However, Boethiah and Vaermina have verrrrry similar base colors. Boethiah's base color has just a bit more blue in it than Vaermina, and it's got lovely green sparkles in it as opposed to Vaermina's white sparkles. These differences do make the shades look distinct from each other, but if you're on a budget and can only choose one of the two, I'd say go for Boethiah and it's more unusual green sparkles.

So that's the collection! What do you think of it? Are you looking to purchase any of the shades? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
