Butcher Shop is the newest collection by My Pretty Zombie and the theme is definitely an original one; it's based on items that a butcher shop/deli would carry and/or items that you would think to see at a steakhouse. Despite the meaty theme, these eyeshadows have more variety than different cuts of the same animal. They're are smooth and gorgeous with plenty of complexity. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety in finishes. Of the five eyeshadows, two are glittery, two are shimmery and one is completely matte.
Bleu is the only name that doesn't seem to belong but I suppose people do pair a steak with bleu cheese (right?). Every shade is very unique and I've been really impressed with how good the colors look together despite my initial misgivings.
The shades are available for purchase as a collection at the link below or you can request the shades individually in any of My Pretty Zombie's "you pick" sets. MPZ's eyeshadows usually go for $5 each but you can get the entire set together for $20.

Personal Comments: I think Tenderloin surprised me the most. It's very purple in the jar and when I swatched it at my table but the minute I stepped into the sun, it turned into this very deep red. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

Personal Comments: Garnish is completely matte. I was really surprised to find a matte shade in this collection since most collections stay around one sort of finish. This is my first matte shade from MPZ and I hope that she continues to make more because this eyeshadow feels really fantastic. It's not chalky at all, applies smoothly and the color is very vibrant though a much paler color when applied than in the jar. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion. Personal Comments: I love eyeshadow. It makes me think of fire and The Hunger Games trilogy. It's complex right out of the jar and it doesn't even need bright light to catch the strong gold tones to it. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. Personal Comments: Not a shade that really makes me think of cheese. Bleu looks to me more like the night sky. It's a very deep blue and the glitter is close enough in color to the shadow that it looks just like light specks instead of being overly glitter. DeleteI was going to say that 'Bleu' might refer to the name of the cook of a steak (such as medium rare, welldone, etc), where the meat is basically just touched to the pan on both sides and then served (so basically it's raw and bloody with barely cooked on the outside!)
