innocent + twisted alchemy has recently been offering a super popular monthly subscription program. They offer both a reoccuring subscription and single month option which they announce regularly on their facebook page. The single month's often sell out within hours of being announced so if you're interested, better watch closely!

A little bit after the subscribers receive their subscriptions, ITA makes the 3 brand new eyeshadows available to the general public.

The March 2014 subscription included ITA's first ever matte eyeshadow and the owner, Linda, was kind enough to send me a full size jar to show you.

Ahem. Sorry, it should be "MOZZIES."

I'm not sure what the name reference is, Google tells me that a mozzie is a mosquito and I'm fairly certain that's not it, but I'm extremely impressed by this eyeshadow.

The website describes this shade as a "Matte terracotta brown" and that's spot on. Mozzies is a brown with very strong red notes. It blends wonderfully and it's very very soft. I shouldn't be surprised. I absolutely love ITA's other shadows but this matte formula surprised me all the same. It's just excellent. The pigmentation is great, it's not chalky or patchy, and it does a great job with the outer corner of any eye.

I highly recommend this eyeshadow. It's sadly limited edition so if you're interested, pick it up soon! I hope that ITA releases more matte eyeshadows soon. I'm excited to try out any others!

Eye Shadow Ingredients: Iron Oxide (77491, 77492, 77499), Magnesium Myristate, Zinc Oxide, Carnauba Wax, Manganese Violet (Pigment Violet 16) (77742, 10101-66-3), Ultramarines; Pigment Violet 15 (77007, 57455-37-5), Ultramarines (77007, 57455-37-5, 12769-96-9)

    1. The formula is excellent and I'm also hoping they'll expand the color offerings! We'll be sure to post about it if we hear anything!
