Have I mentioned before that I really love the small collections that Notoriously Morbid puts out? If not, I really do. I'm a big fan of quality over quantity and with this collection in particular, the shadows definitely follow that mentality.
Notoriously Morbid tends to pick more obscure inspirations, staying away from the Hunger Games or other cult favorite themes, and so I usually have no idea what the shadow names or colors are referencing. This Magical Mystery Collection is no exception. It may just be the fact that I live under a metaphorical rock but the theme doesn't strike any emotional chords for me.
The eyeshadows themselves are gorgeous with stain finishes and some subtle duo-chrome to them. They work really well together since all shades are in the muted, less in-your-face realm.

Personal Comments: A light beige eyeshadow with a satin finish. Lizard on a Window Pane is a great neutral and though I didn't see the green duochrome, there's definitely an interesting highlight to it. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.

Personal Comments: The description is pretty spot on for this eyeshadow. It's a dark grey with a subtle red highlight. Really pretty with a satin finish. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.
